This is one cool book by Rick Riordan. Came upon it when I saw the movie trailer back in 09. This demi-god, Percy has to fight Greek mythology monsters, and is betrayed by a person he trusted. follows the myth of  Percy Jackson with some changes. 
I would recommend the book to people that like books about modern Greek mythology

This Book was better than the 1st book in the series.  Zombies, dangerous Jungle people, and more. Full of action and adventure, what is there not to like ? The Magic that is used in Lyrian is similar to that of Alagaesia. I like this book a lot, it's really good.
